BACKGROUND:

❝ THE PAST JUST KEEPS COMING BACK. ❞

PERSONALITY:

❝ I DIDN'T QUIT BEING WONDER GIRL. I JUST STOPPED. ❞

Between the original Titans members, Donna Troy stands out as the most pragmatic and emotionally stable of the bunch in comparison to Dick, struggling with his darkness and his role as Batman's sidekick, Hank's anger management issues and Dawn's penchant for violence. In comparison, Donna seem relatively tame to the hotheaded, reactionary personalities her friends foster. The traumatic death of her parents led to Donna being taken in by Diana, then back to Themiscyra where she adopted Amazonian values to help her fill the void in her life and cope after being the sole survivor of such a horrifying ordeal. Even as a young girl, she was the voice of reason Dick turned to when he struggled with being a mere sidekick or feeling powerless against super-villains and other criminals the adults took care of.

Donna attempts to look at problematic situations presented to her and solve them by using her head and not visceral emotions. Given her time with the Titans, seeing what her friends got into and even getting caught up in deeply regretful acts herself, she's learned and grown from the mistakes of others and her own. She would rather analyze a situation then jump into it with blinders if she can, though it can also be inferred that her time on Themyscira taught her even the strongest of Amazonian warriors prepare and study before making their move. Without knowing what she's getting into, Donna displays unease and discomfort and will even voice her concerns to those around her. She snaps at Dick for meddling in an illegal poaching ring she had meticulously been working on to take down, but once she's calmed down she expresses her concern that Dick knows her and should have trusted her to handle it on her own as he's always known her to be capable. After all, she had a plan and he's known her long enough to understand how she operates.

Her collected nature is what earns others' trust in her, especially when they need her to lend an ear. To those who need it and are willing to listen, Donna is more than willing to dispense advice and remind others to trust in themselves and the path their on, but notably she doesn't necessitate the direction in which they need to go in; she listens and can give suggestions, but she leaves the rest in their hands. This isn't to say Donna is looking to wash her hands of her friends' problems so soon -- rather, her belief in them runs deep enough to know they'll find a solution to their problem, but if not, she's ready to step in and help.

Though at times, she has her reasons to be hands off. While Donna has learned to embrace her life and find happiness in it, she didn't get there overnight even with the Amazons nurturing her. Her time as a Titan is littered with good and the exceptionally bad -- and the bad plays a major part in her wanting to embrace life as Donna Troy rather than Wonder Girl, whether she's willing to admit it or not. She refuses to look back on the dirtier, shameful parts of her Titans past and is cautionary and defensive whenever it is alluded to or when someone brings it up directly. An example of this is when Kory, who has no idea who Deathstroke is, asks what it is about him that's causing the original Titans to act so agitated. Donna's response is cagey, verbally shrugging it off and chalking it up to something she doesn't necessarily want to discuss. However with Dick, Donna's response to him restarting the Titans with literal children is an angered, disappointed one. She stubbornly refuses to see the merit in reopening the Titans Tower, viewing it as a fragment of their past they need to let go of. For herself, the Titans Tower represents a creeping past that won't let her be and now that she's found something good and worthwhile in being Donna Troy, not Wonder Girl, she refuses to let Dick or anyone drag her back into the darkness she escaped years ago.

To her credit, Donna has come a long way despite the trauma she's repeatedly had to endure. Most wouldn't figure she's burdened by the weight of rejecting a destiny she was supposed to fulfill or the death of a man she had feelings for. She's grown wiser from past mistakes, but hasn't necessarily hardened or closed herself off entirely to others. After all these years she still carries a gentle enough demeanor that makes her fairly easy to approach and she gets along well with people who don't give her reason to otherwise. Her warm nature leads her to poke fun and sass her friends, though on occasion she runs her mouth even with strangers (dropping Kory as an alien in a blunt fashion to Hank, Dawn and Jason which garners minor irritation from her new ally) or mocks enemies as the urge comes up. But Donna builds strong rapport with those she develops or sees a connection with, especially super powered types trying to find their way in the universe. She is also shown as one of the only Titans having a social life and networking years later, focusing on the love and light in her life and encouraging others to try it. While she's long understood that she can never be a regular civilian, she's carved an independent path of her own, separate that she's not under Wonder Woman's imposing shadow, but casting her own through small but important gains as she continues to fight the good fight.

    POWER:

❝ I'M THE PERSON WHO KNOCKED YOU OUT. ❞

HUMAN/AMAZONIAN PHYSIOLOGY: Donna is a hybrid of HALF-AMAZON and HALF-HUMAN, displaying physical prowess, reflexes and combat skills that far surpasses the average human.
SUPERHUMAN STRENGTH: Donna is capable of lifting heavy objects, such as motorcycles, breaking fire hydrants open with ease and even knocking beings out in a single hit depending on the level of strength she exerts. She is seen easily subduing a regular human and knocking him several feet away, unconscious, with the flick of her hand. She may be stronger than the alien Koriand'r, as when they fight she holds her stance as Kory tries to pull back on her lasso before Donna knocks her unconscious in a single punch to the face.
SUPERHUMAN AGILITY: Through her training with the Amazons, Donna can move with an unnatural precision, affecting her reflexes as well (such as being able to leap more than several feet into the air and landing without losing her balance.
SUPERHUMAN SPEED: Running at speeds where she appears almost akin to a blur, though not at Flash speed levels. It appears she can only run for short distances at a higher speed than normal, which also means quick reflexes allow her to catch or avoid objects or physical attacks being thrown at her.
SUPERHUMAN DURABILITY: Able to withstand higher levels of physical harm. While not invulnerable to sharp objects or bullets, Donna is able to bounce back from some harm faster than most.
BRACELETS OF SUBMISSION: An indestructible pair of metal cuffs worn by all Amazons on Themyscira. These can deflect gunfire in ranged combat, but in close combat can deflect melee weapons and punches and/or kicks.

Donna is also a skilled Hand-to-Hand Combatant, as Wonder Woman's sidekick, being under the tutelage of the Amazons and her time as a Titan. She has trained with numerous weapons that Amazonians use (sword, shield, bow, spear, lasso) and forms of martial arts. She has been noted as particularly skilled in boxing and held her own for a while against the assassin Deathstroke while he was in full body armor.

COMMUNITY POST (VOICE) SAMPLE:
[ Donna doesn't opt into the video function when she starts up the communicator, an interesting little piece the soldiers on base handed over to her. Some people back home might have liked to get their hands on it for curiosity's sake.

Her inflection runs a little dry, events of the past couple of days trying to get her bearings weighing upon her shoulders. To arrive in a world that's officially on a Doomsday Clock isn't the welcoming party she wanted. ]

I'm trying to get this straight: one of the Moirai is on her way to potentially devour this world, but in the meantime her other sister is going to keep bringing us in and the soldiers on base are kind of raising their arms up in defeat over it.

[ Her tongue clicks before she says something that sounds like it's more to herself: ]

One way or another, destiny finds a way.

[ It's almost like a former Titan can't get away from the hero life without a literal Fate shoving her back into her seat. ]

Alright, I've met a couple of people who've gone through the alternate universe deal with me, so I'm gonna ask: who else is familiar with the name Donna Troy?

[ While she would prefer not to draw attention to herself immediately, circumstances are going to lead to it eventually. May as well get ahead of it now before she's left utterly confused. ]

LOGS POST (PROSE) SAMPLE:
FINAL NOTES: Some of Donna's inventory she'll be porting in with as listed:
LASSO: Donna's current incarnation of the lariat is a gold lasso that glows when in use. It is indestructible.
WONDER GIRL COSTUME: Her old costume.
If the lasso also needs to fall under a power slot, let me know and I can remedy that.
